Introduction to Assurance & Business Services

The Assurance & Business Services team at Evelyn Partners plays a crucial role in supporting businesses that need to assure their investors and stakeholders about their financial performance, even when a full audit isn’t required by law. Our team caters to a diverse client base, including small businesses, family enterprises, and non-profits across various sectors in both the UK and internationally.

Role Overview

As an intern in our Assurance & Business Services team, you will work closely with finance teams at different levels, from Accounts Assistants to Financial Directors. Your work environment will vary based on each assignment, whether at client locations or in our Evelyn Partners offices. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to provide insights, advice, and solutions that truly make a difference.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team to carry out various audit and accountancy tasks
• Gain an understanding of clients and their business portfolios
• Keep senior stakeholders updated on project progress
• Become familiar with our audit and accounting software
• Address queries related to audit or accountancy
• Prioritize tasks while monitoring time against budgets

Qualifications for Success

• Must be in your penultimate year of university
• Predicted to achieve at least a 2:2 degree in any discipline
• Achieve a minimum of 112 UCAS points from your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies
• Attain at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths GCSEs
