Role Overview

In this role, you’ll handle corporate tax responsibilities for an array of large UK-listed, private equity-backed, and family-owned clients. Your contributions will include tax structuring, BEPS Pillar 2 assessment, international expansion advisories, and other pivotal projects. Collaborating within a supportive and diverse team, you’ll help shape KPMG’s tax strategies and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful corporate tax advice to a broad client base, supporting commercial goals.
  • Deliver technically complex advice across multiple areas, including BEPS Pillar 2 implementation, legal structuring, refinancing, and pre/post-transaction reorganizations.
  • Lead client proposals, pitches, and business development opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and identifying new advisory opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, nurturing talent and expertise within the tax team.
  • Collaborate with specialists across departments and international offices to achieve comprehensive advisory solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Corporate tax experience, with a strong technical understanding and advisory capability.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in complex tax advisory, structuring, and client relations.
    • Commercial awareness with a proactive business development approach.
    • Strong client and project management skills with a positive, solution-oriented outlook.
