Why This Role?
As a Tax Manager within AARTS, you’ll act as the tax specialist for audit and tax reporting engagements. You’ll manage teams, serve a broad client base, and provide technical insights across both listed and private companies. This role allows you to make an impact while fostering strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax teams in audit and tax reporting engagements for various clients.
- Serve as the tax expert, helping audit teams scope and deliver comprehensive audits.
- Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and technical accuracy.
- Work closely with audit and tax departments, advising on complex tax matters.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members.
- Share insights and updates with the AARTS team on current tax developments.
What You’ll Need
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
- Strong understanding of UK tax reporting (IFRS, FRS 102) and compliance.
- Some knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with audit teams.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and experience in audit or accounting.

This role is based in Leeds, but we welcome candidates from across the UK, especially from Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. We offer flexible working arrangements, including remote work and part-time options.
