As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will join a dynamic team in PwC’s Fund Administration practice, working with cutting-edge technology to provide a range of services including fund administration, accounting, tax, and reporting for alternative funds. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international clients across various alternative asset classes, ensuring compliance with different accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.

The Role Senior Fund Accountant

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will join a dynamic team in PwC’s Fund Administration practice, working with cutting-edge technology to provide a range of services including fund administration, accounting, tax, and reporting for alternative funds. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of international clients across various alternative asset classes, ensuring compliance with different accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients investing in alternative asset classes, adhering to IFRS, Lux GAAP, US GAAP, and industry-specific regulations.
• Review fund administration activities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, financial statements, consolidations, and tax compliance.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, continuously enhancing client relationships and developing business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal Accounting and Tax teams to deliver tailored solutions and maximize value for clients.
• Leverage data management and technology tools, gaining exposure to data analytics and digital solutions.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Accounting, Audit, Fund Administration, Financial Reporting, or Consolidation.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, Lux GAAP, and/or US GAAP. Knowledge of consolidation principles is a plus.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is an asset.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Yardi), data tools (ETL, BI, Alteryx), or digital solutions is advantageous.
• Interest in alternative investments and digital transformation within the accounting industry.
• Flexible, independent, and able to adapt to dynamic work environments.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
