As a Senior Analyst in Deloitte’s CFO Advisory team, you’ll be an integral part of Jobs in Australia CFO Advisory, working with Government clients to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of finance functions. Key Responsibilities

• Finance Advisory: Deliver insights and advice on finance transformation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Government Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, responding to inquiries from Senate Committees, the Department of Finance, and other key stakeholders.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and manage technical accounting issues within Federal Departments.
• Budget Management: Support internal and external budget development and reporting framework improvements.

Skills, Education, and Experience

Skills:

• Expertise in technical and management accounting
• Strong relationship management and collaborative skills
• Precision thinking and a dedicated work ethic
• Knowledge of budgeting and government finance processes (preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA or CPA qualification (or actively pursuing)

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit, or a related field
• Well-developed client relationship management experience
