Key Responsibilities of Manager Sales Operations

Your responsibilities will focus on overseeing the sales operations and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and vendors.

1. Overseeing IT Solutions Sales

  • Manage sales of IT hardware and software products and services.
  • Ensure efficient handling of the IT distribution supply chain and product lifecycle.

2. Vendor and Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize vendor relationship management.
  • Manage corporate and SLED accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective communication.

3. Sales Pipeline and Order Management

  • Update and manage the sales pipeline to track potential deals.
  • Request quotes from vendors and prepare customized quotes for clients.
  • Follow up on renewals, initiate sales orders, and ensure deal registration for new opportunities.

4. Order Processing and Tracking

  • Monitor in-transit orders and provide customers with tracking updates.
  • Handle returned orders and manage the trace-back process to resolve issues.
  • Work with the Operations Team to validate and submit sales orders for E-rate and Federal Bids.

5. Post-Sale Client Support

  • Promptly address post-sale inquiries and resolve customer issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining effective communication and providing necessary support.

6. Reporting and Task Management

  • Attend weekly meetings and prepare comprehensive weekly and annual reports.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet sales operations goals.

7. Business Development and Partnerships

  • Conduct data mining using platforms like LinkedIn, Seamless, and Zoominfo to identify business opportunities.
  • Explore and establish new partnerships with OEMs to expand product offerings.
