Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex tax consulting projects, delivering excellent client service.
• Oversee daily client engagements, monitor project deliverables, and manage engagement economics.
• Build and maintain strong client networks and help generate new business opportunities.
• Lead and coach high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure strict adherence to EY’s Tax Quality guidelines and standard operating processes.

You are a results-driven leader with extensive experience in corporate tax, capable of navigating challenging tax environments. A highly analytical thinker, you have exceptional communication skills and an aptitude for managing diverse, multicultural teams.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, or Taxation.
• Advanced professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate tax, ideally within a professional services setting.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record in leadership.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Azerbaijani.
• Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education and Experience

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with strong academic credentials.
• Preferred: MBA, LLM, or related advanced degree.
• 5+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally in a multinational context.
