Role Overview
We’re seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Corporate Accounting team, handling a range of tasks such as financial reporting, VAT compliance, and managing client relationships across diverse industries. This role offers opportunities to work on clients of different sizes and sectors, leveraging flexible working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements, bookkeeping, and management accounts.
- Review VAT returns and ensure compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding to ad hoc technical questions.
- Collaborate with internal KPMG teams, including Corporate Tax Compliance and Payroll.
- Support business development and client proposals, working with senior team members.
- Maintain project quality and timelines, including financial and client account management.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in UK GAAP, IFRS, and VAT compliance.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and engage in personal and professional development.
