About the Assurance & Business Services Team

Our Assurance & Business Services team helps businesses reassure investors and stakeholders about their financial health, even when a full audit isn’t necessary. You’ll be part of a team that works with a diverse client base, from small start-ups and family businesses to non-profit organisations, across various industries, both in the UK and globally.

What You’ll Do

As an intern, you’ll work closely with client finance teams, ranging from junior staff to financial directors. Each project will give you a different working experience, either at the client’s office or one of our Evelyn Partners locations. Together, you’ll help provide valuable insights and advice that make a real impact.

Audit tasks are carried out in three stages: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Depending on the size of the client, each stage may last anywhere from a week to several months. Throughout the internship, you’ll be exposed to a range of businesses, learning and growing into an effective auditor.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of a team to handle a variety of audit and accounting tasks
  • Gaining a deep understanding of client businesses
  • Keeping senior team members updated on project progress
  • Learning and using our audit and accounting software
  • Resolving audit and accounting queries
  • Managing tasks and tracking time against project budgets

  • Be on track for at least a 2:2 degree in any field
  • Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points in your top three A-Levels (excluding General Studies)
  • Have at least a Grade 5 in GCSE English and Maths

At Evelyn Partners, we believe that different perspectives drive our success. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. We celebrate diversity and ensure everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
