In today’s market, many businesses need to provide reassurance to stakeholders about their financial performance, even when a full audit isn’t required. Our team offers comprehensive Assurance & Business Services to a wide variety of clients, from small businesses and family-owned start-ups to non-profit organizations, both in the UK and abroad.

Your Role
As an intern with our Assurance & Business Services team, you’ll work directly with finance teams at various levels, from Accounts Assistants to Financial Directors. Each engagement may take place at a client’s office or one of our Evelyn Partners offices. Working collaboratively, you’ll provide assurance, advice, and practical solutions.
Our audit process is divided into three main stages: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Depending on the client’s size and complexity, these stages can last anywhere from a week to several months. This role offers you early exposure to a wide range of businesses, equipping you with the skills and experience to become an effective auditor.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team on a variety of audit and accountancy tasks.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of client businesses and portfolios.
- Keep senior team members updated on project progress.
- Familiarize yourself with audit and accounting software.
- Resolve client queries related to audit or accountancy matters.
- Prioritize and monitor tasks to stay within budget.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Be available from 30th June to 8th August 2025.
- Currently in your penultimate year of university.
- On track for at least a 2:2 degree, in any discipline.
- Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points from your top three A-Levels (excluding General Studies).
- Achieved at least Grade 5 (or equivalent) in GCSE English and Maths.
