About the Assurance & Business Services Team

Some businesses need to provide financial transparency to stakeholders, even when a full audit isn’t required. In this role, you’ll be part of a team that delivers assurance and business services to a wide range of clients, from startups and family businesses to charities and international firms across various sectors.

Your Role

As part of the Assurance & Business Services team, you’ll work directly with client finance teams, from junior staff to financial directors. Your work environment will vary, either at client offices or an Evelyn Partners office, and you’ll collaborate with teams to deliver advice, assurance, and practical solutions.

The audit process consists of three key stages: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. These stages can last from a week to several months, depending on the client’s needs. This internship will expose you to various types of businesses, helping you build essential auditing skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with a team on audit and accounting projects.
  • Learning about clients and their financial portfolios.
  • Keeping senior team members updated on progress.
  • Familiarize yourself with audit and accounting software.
  • Answering audit or accounting-related questions.
  • Managing tasks while ensuring time stays within budget.

Requirements

To qualify for this internship, you must:

  • Be available from 30th June to 8th August 2025.
  • Be in your penultimate year of university.
  • Be on track for at least a 2:2 degree, in any subject area.
  • Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points from your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
  • Have at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at GCSE level.

At Evelyn Partners, we value diverse perspectives as they strengthen our success. You’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is demonstrated through our employee resource groups and ongoing initiatives. We aim to provide a workplace where you can thrive and reach your full potential.

We are committed to offering reasonable accommodations throughout the application process, so please let your recruiter know if you need any adjustments.

After clicking the ‘I’m interested’ button, you’ll be directed to your profile page. While we update our system, please note the following:
