About the Assurance & Business Services Team

The Assurance & Business Services team supports businesses by providing financial assurance to their stakeholders, even when a full audit isn’t required. We work with a diverse range of clients, from small businesses and start-ups to non-profits, across various industries both in the UK and globally.

Your Role

As part of this team, you’ll work directly with finance teams from entry-level to senior leadership, including Financial Directors. You’ll gain hands-on experience in various settings, whether at client offices or Evelyn Partners offices, offering practical advice and solutions.

Our audits are carried out in three stages—Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion—lasting from a week to several months based on the client’s size and complexity. You’ll be exposed to many businesses, helping you develop essential auditing skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to assist with audit and accountancy tasks
• Develop a strong understanding of clients and their business needs
• Keep senior stakeholders informed of project progress
• Learn and use audit and accounting software
• Solve audit or accounting queries
• Manage your tasks and monitor time against budget

What We’re Looking For:

• Available from 30th June – 8th August 2025
• In your penultimate year of university
• Expected to achieve at least a 2:2 degree in any subject
• A minimum of 112 UCAS points in your top three A Levels (excluding General Studies)
• GCSE Grade 5 or above in English Language and Maths (or equivalent)
