The Assurance & Business Services Team at Evelyn Partners
Many businesses need to show stakeholders their financial health, even if a full audit isn’t required. The team you’ll join offers a broad range of Assurance & Business Services to various clients, from small start-ups and family-run enterprises to non-profit organisations and international companies, across many industries.
Your Role
As part of our Assurance & Business Services team, you’ll work directly with client finance teams at all levels, from junior staff to financial directors. Your work environment will change with each engagement, whether at client offices or one of our Evelyn Partners locations. Together, you’ll provide assurance, guidance, and solutions that make a real impact.
Audits typically go through three stages: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Depending on the client’s size and complexity, each phase can last from a week to several months. You’ll quickly get exposure to different types of businesses, helping you develop the skills you need to succeed as an auditor.
Your key tasks will include:
- Collaborating with a team on various audit and accounting tasks.
- Understanding client businesses and their operations.
- Keeping senior team members updated on the project’s progress.
- Becoming familiar with our audit and accounting software.
- Solving audit or accounting-related queries.
- Managing your tasks while keeping an eye on time and budget.
Requirements
To apply for this internship, you should:
- Be available from 30th June to 8th August 2025.
- Be in your penultimate year of university.
- Be on track for at least a 2:2 degree, in any subject.
- Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points from your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
- Have at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in both English Language and Maths at GCSE level.
At Evelyn Partners, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences drive our success. You’ll find a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone is valued. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in our active employee resource groups and ongoing initiatives. We’re dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.
We’re also committed to making reasonable accommodations throughout the application process. Feel free to discuss any specific needs with your recruiter.
Important Notes for Your Application
When you click the ‘I’m interested’ button, you’ll be directed to your profile page. As we update this process, please keep in mind:
- You can only submit one application to our programmes per recruitment season. If you’re not successful, you’ll need to wait until next September to reapply for the following year.
- In the ‘Experience’ section, if you don’t have any prior experience, simply enter ‘N/A’ in the ‘Title’ field and select random start and end dates.
