About the Assurance & Business Services Team

Our team provides Assurance & Business Services to clients from various industries—ranging from small businesses to international non-profits. Even when a full audit isn’t required, our team helps clients demonstrate their financial health to investors and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

As an intern, you’ll work closely with finance teams, from junior staff to financial directors. Each project will give you hands-on experience, either at the client’s office or one of our Evelyn Partners locations. You’ll help deliver valuable insights and practical advice that makes a real difference to clients.

Audit tasks follow a cycle of Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Depending on the size of the client, each stage may last from a week to several months. During the internship, you’ll learn the ins and outs of audit and gain exposure to a variety of businesses.

Your main tasks will include:

• Collaborating with the team on audit and accounting tasks
• Gaining an understanding of client businesses
• Keeping senior team members updated on progress
• Learning to use our audit and accounting software
• Solving audit or accounting queries
• Prioritising tasks and monitoring time against budgets

Requirements

To be a good fit for this role, you should:

• Be available from 30th June – 8th August 2025
• Be in your penultimate year of university
• Be on track for at least a 2:2 degree in any discipline
• Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points in your top three A-Levels (excluding General Studies)
• Have at least a Grade 5 in GCSE English and Maths
