About the Assurance & Business Services Team

Businesses often need to demonstrate their financial health to stakeholders, even when a full audit isn’t legally required. The Assurance & Business Services team you’ll join supports a diverse range of clients, including small businesses, family enterprises, charities, and organizations from different industries, both in the UK and internationally.

Your Role

As part of our Assurance & Business Services team, you will work closely with client finance teams, from junior staff to senior finance directors. Your work will vary depending on the client’s location or whether you’re working at an Evelyn Partners office, but you’ll always collaborate to provide meaningful advice and practical solutions.

Our audits are conducted in three phases: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Depending on the client’s size and complexity, each phase can last from a week to several months. During the internship, you’ll get exposure to different businesses, helping you develop valuable auditing skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with a team on various audit and accounting projects.
• Building knowledge of client businesses and their financial portfolios.
• Keeping senior colleagues updated on project progress.
• Learning to use our audit and accounting software.
• Addressing any audit or accounting queries.
• Managing and prioritizing tasks while staying within the project’s time budget.

Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

• Be available from 30th June to 8th August 2025.
• Be in your penultimate year of university.
• Be on track for at least a 2:2 degree in any discipline.
• Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points from your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
• Have at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in both English Language and Maths at GCSE level.
