Introduction to the Assurance & Business Services Team
The Assurance & Business Services team at Evelyn Partners plays a crucial role in assuring investors and stakeholders about financial performance. This team provides comprehensive services to a diverse client base, including small businesses, family enterprises, and non-profits across various industries, both in the UK and internationally.

What You Will Be Doing
As a member of our Assurance & Business Services team, you will collaborate closely with client finance teams at various levels, from Accounts Assistants to Financial Directors. Your work environment will vary depending on each engagement, whether at client offices or at Evelyn Partners’ locations, where you will work together to deliver meaningful assurance, advice, and solutions.
Our audit process consists of three phases: Planning, Fieldwork, and Completion. Each phase can take anywhere from one week to several months, depending on the size and complexity of the client. You will gain valuable exposure to different businesses, helping you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become an effective auditor.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team on various audit and accountancy tasks.
- Gain insights into our clients and their business operations.
- Keep senior stakeholders updated on project progress.
- Familiarize yourself with our audit and accounting software.
- Address any queries related to audits or accountancy.
- Manage tasks and monitor time against budget constraints.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be available from June 30 to August 8, 2025.
- Be in your penultimate year at university.
- Be on track for at least a predicted 2:2 degree in any discipline.
- Have a minimum of 112 UCAS points in your top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies.
- Achieve at least a Grade 5 (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at GCSE level.
