What You’ll Do as a Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inbound Sales Calls: Handle inbound calls from potential clients, identifying their unique needs and making tailored travel recommendations. You’ll never have to worry about cold calling, allowing you to focus on creating relationships and making sales.
  • Follow-Up and Closing Sales: Make follow-up calls to nurture leads, overcome objections, and effectively close sales. Your ability to build rapport will be crucial in converting leads into loyal customers.
  • Personalized Recommendations: Based on guests’ preferences and interests, you’ll provide personalized travel recommendations. Understanding your clients will help you curate extraordinary experiences.
  • Relationship Building: Establish lasting relationships with clients to drive consumer loyalty. Your efforts will not only benefit your sales numbers but also enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Detailed Explanations: Clearly explain cruise itineraries, onboard amenities, and pricing details to help clients make informed decisions.

Qualifications for Success

To thrive as a Sales Consultant, you’ll need the following qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Account Executive or in a similar sales role is required. You should have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding monetary sales KPI metrics.
  • Telephonic Sales Skills: Strong experience in making sales over the phone is crucial. You should be comfortable navigating conversations that lead to successful sales.
