Key Responsibilities

Supervising Junior Immigration Caseworkers

As an Immigration Supervisor, one of your primary responsibilities will be to supervise junior business immigration caseworkers. You will provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management to ensure that all team members excel in their roles. Your leadership will guide the team in managing complex cases and ensuring that their work output is accurate and timely.

Training and Development

In your role as an Immigration Supervisor, you will be instrumental in training new employees. By fostering a culture of continuous learning, you will help staff develop the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in business immigration. Your expertise will be vital in demonstrating excellence in managing various immigration cases, allowing the team to prioritize effectively and manage their workloads efficiently.

Client Relationship Management

Qualifications

To succeed as an Immigration Supervisor at Fragomen, you should possess the following qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • At least 7 years of business immigration experience, particularly as a paralegal.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience is essential.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas.
  • A client service mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using various computer systems, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of proofreading documents and drafting clear, concise content.

Ability to Multi-Task

As an Immigration Supervisor, you will need the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Competing demands will require effective time management and prioritization skills to ensure that all responsibilities are met.

Compensation

The salary range for the Immigration Supervisor position is competitive and based on various factors, including skills, experience, and work location. The estimated salary range for this role is $78,000.00 – $103,000.00 for individuals working a hybrid schedule locally.
