Key Responsibilities
- Pay and Personnel Administration: Provide administrative support directly to military personnel or manage pay and personnel support functions.
- Resource and Financial Management: Conduct financial resource management duties, including clerical, administrative, and resource management tasks within the unit.
- Staff Clerk Functions: Assist in planning, coordination, and operational support for staff officers, including developing orders and ensuring financial management requirements are met.
- Data Analysis: Review data to uncover insights that inform decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage administrative tasks, including resource and financial management.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent ability to analyze data and ensure accurate personnel management.
- Communication Skills: Clear, concise communication skills to work effectively with teams and superiors.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with HR management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Fitness: You must be reasonably fit and pass the physical fitness test as part of the selection process.
Education and Experience
- Education: At least a Year 10 education with passes in English and Mathematics.
- Experience: While prior experience in human resources or administration is an advantage, it’s not required as full training will be provided.
- Citizenship: You must be an Australian citizen, or meet specific eligibility criteria if not.

Training

Salary and Career Progression
- Starting Salary: $56,385 per annum, increasing as you progress through training.
- After Training Completion: Up to $76,700 per annum with generous superannuation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Have completed Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics.
- Be an Australian citizen or meet specific criteria if not.
- Be physically fit and able to pass the physical fitness test.
- Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
