As a FATCA/CRS Officer in Curacao, you will be responsible for managing FATCA and CRS due diligence, reporting, and documentation processes for clients in the US and Caribbean regions. You will act as the go-to person for answering FATCA/CRS queries and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with reporting standards.

Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams in the US, Caribbean offices, and Shared Services to support FATCA and CRS queries.
- FATCA/CRS Due Diligence: Conduct FATCA and CRS due diligence reviews by collecting and reviewing client information. Classify legal entities, prepare necessary documentation, and enroll clients with the IRS and local AEOI portals.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit FATCA and CRS reports in compliance with international regulations. Ensure timely reporting and regulatory filings.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Prepare FATCA and CRS policies and procedures to ensure alignment across regions.
- Process Improvement: Act as the Business Implementation Manager for FATCA/CRS processes to improve the reporting and documentation system for clients.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with the Head of Delivery and key stakeholders to track reporting metrics, manage workflows, and forecast costs. Maintain clear communication regarding project progress.
- Onboarding & Training: Ensure client onboarding is compliant with FATCA and CRS requirements, meeting deadlines and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle FATCA/CRS queries and ensure regional offices are aligned with reporting and documentation standards.
- Perform due diligence for FATCA/CRS clients and ensure proper enrollment with relevant authorities.
- Submit FATCA and CRS reports, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients to deliver effective solutions.
- Oversee client onboarding and maintain high standards for FATCA/CRS compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Experience in FATCA and CRS compliance, with a focus on reporting, due diligence, and policy development.
- A collaborative mindset to work across different teams and time zones.
Skills and Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business, Tax, or related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
- 2+ years of experience in FATCA and CRS due diligence and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks across time zones.
- Advanced IT skills, especially with Excel and .xml reporting.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Proven experience in delivering client-focused solutions and managing stakeholder relationships.
Education and Experience:
- Education: University degree in Business, Tax, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in FATCA/CRS compliance, due diligence, and reporting.
