Key Responsibilities

• Audit Excellence: Deliver high-quality external audit services to clients across various sectors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain client relationships, offering tailored audit insights and solutions.
• Technical Accounting: Work with data analytics to understand business drivers, solve technical issues, and inform decision-making.
• Mentorship: Serve as a mentor to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Business Development: Collaborate with the Audit Quality and Technical Accounting teams and support client pursuits.

Our Listed team at Deloitte offers extensive audit services to ASX-listed and multinational organizations across key industries like Consumer & Industrial Products, Energy & Resources, Tech, Media & Telco, Life Sciences & Healthcare, and Real Estate. With a focus on using sophisticated and tailored approaches, our audits provide clients with a clear understanding of their financial position and critical insights for business decisions.

Skills / Experience / Education

Skills:

• Collaborative skills with a focus on client relationships
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in data analysis and Excel (including macros)
• Precision thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to present and summarize large data sets

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in external audit, preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and solve audit-related issues

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or Accounting
• CA qualification (or equivalent) or close to completion
