Role Overview
As a Senior Executive Finance and Accounting, you will support the Record to Report (R2R) process across various geographies. Your responsibilities will include recording intercompany transactions, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with reporting guidelines.
Key Goals
- Align reporting with Group Accounting guidelines.
- Process financial transactions according to standard procedures.
- Meet SLAs and KPIs set by stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements in Finance and Accounting.
Responsibilities
1. Reporting and Reconciliation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in Oracle EPM based on Group Accounting guidelines.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and report results to Group Accounting.
- Reconcile transactions between FCC and Oracle Financials monthly.
2. Audit and Compliance
- Provide necessary information to external auditors.
- Assist in coordinating annual audits and quarterly reviews.
- Implement procedures to comply with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
3. Process Improvement and Standardization
- Identify opportunities for process standardization across the Group.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Participate in cross-team collaborations to ensure efficient task execution.
4. Ad Hoc Projects and Reporting
- Handle additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain performance tracking sheets and report daily activities to line management.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Background and Experience
- ACCA/ACMA/CA Finalist or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with accounting systems.
Technical and Functional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion and FCC is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Personal Attributes
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Strong time-management and follow-up skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
