Job Expectations
As a Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining courteous and professional interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community. Key expectations include:
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat appearance and good personal hygiene in line with CSI’s image standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Support and adhere to established safety, security, and quality guidelines. Report any accidents or incidents to your manager immediately.
- Food Safety: Ensure that food safety hygiene practices meet county regulations regarding sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal.
- Vendor Relations: Work professionally with vendors and contractors, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
- Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance is essential.
Essential Functions
In your role as a Service Representative, you will perform various essential functions that are vital to our operations:
- Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service by greeting all customers courteously, making eye contact, and expressing gratitude.
- Point-of-Sale Activities: Conduct all point-of-sale transactions accurately and safely, following CSI guidelines. This includes handling retail and fuel sales.
- Cash Management: Maintain your cash drawer at or below the maximum level, secure funds in the safe, and perform cashier reconciliations at the end of each shift.
- Cleaning Duties: Perform consistent cleaning of indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms and pumps, ensuring a pleasant environment for customers.
- Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare food and hot beverages, effectively managing inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize sales.
- Promotions: Actively promote store specials and other marketing initiatives.
- Inventory Management: Cross-check prices of delivered goods for accuracy and distribute them throughout the store efficiently.
- Fuel Regulations: Adhere to local laws regarding the filling of vehicle fuel tanks.
Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for the Service Representative position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Availability: Must be available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for this role.
