Job Description

As a Client Service Manager at IQ-EQ, you will concentrate on driving business growth and developing talent within your team. You will establish strong working relationships with stakeholders and provide feedback on the performance of your teams. This role includes managing complex client requirements, reviewing financials, capital calls, and distributions, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize a client services team to ensure client deliverables are met.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback on efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Handle complex client requests and service operations, including preparing financial reports and completing financial statement disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with all client requirements, processes, and legal regulations.
  • Guide the team in both technical and non-technical aspects, providing coaching to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Act as the first line of escalation for client concerns and operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Support project managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in Accounting or Business-related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • At least 4 years of supervisory experience, managing service operations and client deliverables.
  • Experience in managing teams and conducting staff appraisals.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IndAS, IFRS, GAAP) and financial services operations.
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages as a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Investran/Paxus) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Essential Skills:
    • Leadership and team management skills
    • Proficient in financial accounting and reporting
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)
    • Ability to handle client complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
    • Proven experience in fund accounting services and preparing financial statements
    • Experience with multinational offices and managing cross-functional teams
  • Desired Skills:
    • CPA/ACCA qualification (if applicable)
    • Experience with private equity fund accounting
