Role Overview

As an Audit Associate, you’ll be responsible for planning, performing, and completing audits for clients. You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure that clients receive top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with key client contacts.
• Provide efficient, proactive service to clients and exceed their expectations.
• Identify and resolve issues, keeping the Partner or Director informed of progress.
• Understand the commercial aspects of clients’ businesses and how it affects the audit process.
• Identify potential opportunities for Evelyn Partners based on the work done.
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure progress and expectations are clear.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• To study towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA).
• Experience in audit and accounts, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong communication skills, both with internal teams and clients.
• Experience supervising others and delegating tasks effectively.
• Ability to motivate staff for optimal performance.
• Excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage several assignments at once.
• Ability to monitor costs against budget for individual clients.
