Role Overview
As an Audit Associate, you’ll be responsible for planning, performing, and completing audits for clients. You’ll work closely with other departments to ensure that clients receive top-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with key client contacts.
- Provide efficient, proactive service to clients and exceed their expectations.
- Identify and resolve issues, keeping the Partner or Director informed of progress.
- Understand the commercial aspects of clients’ businesses and how it affects the audit process.
- Identify potential opportunities for Evelyn Partners based on the work done.
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure progress and expectations are clear.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- To study towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA).
- Experience in audit and accounts, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Strong communication skills, both with internal teams and clients.
- Experience supervising others and delegating tasks effectively.
- Ability to motivate staff for optimal performance.
- Excellent organizational skills, allowing you to manage several assignments at once.
- Ability to monitor costs against budget for individual clients.
