About the Job

In this role, you will provide on-site support for each Assurance assignment, ensuring clients receive top-notch service across all aspects.

Responsibilities

• Play a crucial role in Assurance teams, with opportunities to lead the on-site elements of assignments.
• Ensure assignments align with pre-assignment instructions, executing all tasks efficiently and according to firm procedures.
• Uphold Assurance quality standards, contributing to both internal and external quality assurance processes.
• Communicate any compliance issues or contentious matters to the assignment manager immediately, while suggesting potential solutions.
• Offer adequate briefings and supervision, providing “on-the-job” training for junior staff members.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consistently practicing excellent client service principles.
• Stay informed about the firm’s specialized services and publications to add value for clients.
• Review work completed by junior staff for thoroughness and accuracy and participate in job appraisal reviews.
• Track actual time spent versus budget on each assignment and complete necessary review procedures before submitting files for manager review.
• Continuously develop your technical knowledge through relevant reading and courses, meeting professional CPD requirements.
• Keep training records up-to-date and stay on track with exam studies as applicable.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions, assisting with student recruitment and marketing activities as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Prior experience in Assurance tasks within a professional services environment.
• Proven client management experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality Assurance services.
• Familiarity with an analytical review approach is desirable.
