Role Overview
We are seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join our Audit team in Southampton. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the audit process from start to finish on each assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly meet with clients to update them on progress, troubleshoot any issues, and manage their expectations.
- Identify any business opportunities for Evelyn Partners from the work you’re doing.
- Support and train junior staff members.
- Complete assessments of the audit team’s performance.
- Follow audit procedures and ensure the work is completed as per requirements.
- Prepare draft reports, including identifying areas for improvement, for review by the audit manager.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Proven UK audit experience, ideally within a professional services firm.
- Strong communication skills for both internal team interactions and client discussions.
- Experience in supervising and delegating tasks to others.
- The ability to organize multiple assignments and manage your time effectively.
