Role Overview
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and finalizing the audit process for each assignment, ensuring clients receive exceptional service through effective resource management and collaboration with relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key client contacts.
- Deliver efficient and proactive services, consistently exceeding client expectations.
- Identify any issues and collaborate with the client Partner or Director to resolve them, keeping them informed about job progress.
- Understand the commercial aspects of clients’ businesses and how they affect our work.
- Recognize and highlight opportunities for Evelyn Partners based on your work.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to confirm progress, troubleshoot hurdles, and manage expectations effectively.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- A qualified accountant designation (ACA, CA, or ACCA).
- Proven audit and accounting experience within a professional services environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and internal teams.
- Experience supervising and delegating tasks to others.
- The ability to motivate staff to achieve optimal performance.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in monitoring costs against budgets for individual clients.
