About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Accounting and Insight Advisory team in Glasgow/Edinburgh. You will support Managers in the profitable management of client portfolios, ensuring top-quality service delivery. You’ll also play an active role in business development and identifying growth opportunities for the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure assignments are completed to high standards within agreed budgets, discussing key points with senior staff and clients.
- Plan assignments according to RSM’s procedures, confirming arrangements, costs, and billing details.
- Take a hands-on supervisory role on projects when needed.
- Coach and mentor staff to deliver top-tier service.
What We’re Looking For
We value diversity and unique perspectives. Our ideal candidate will have:
- ACA or ACCA qualification (newly qualified).
- A solid understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with Sage and Xero (helpful but not required).
- Strong accounts production skills and commercial awareness.
- Knowledge of CCH Accounts Production (preferred, but not essential).
