Job Overview
Position: Sales Manufacturing Tech
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
As a Sales Manufacturing Tech, you will perform various production assembly operations on electronic components and final assemblies. This role involves not only hands-on assembly work but also monitoring and guiding other assembly employees to ensure optimal performance and quality. Your leadership skills and expertise in manufacturing will be key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Manufacturing Tech, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly Operations: Conduct bench production assembly of products and parts, ensuring the accurate setting and synching of assembled components.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards, minimizing discrepancies in your work and consistently achieving production quotas.
- Team Leadership: With at least three years of direct experience in a leadership role, you will guide a team of over eight individuals, fostering teamwork and productivity on the assembly line.
- Training and Development: As a Sales Manufacturing Tech, you will be responsible for training new employees and cross-training existing staff across various assembly lines.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting in both final and sub-assembly areas. Collaborate with engineering teams on prototypes and the development of new models.
- Documentation: Generate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), revise work instructions, and write travelers to ensure accurate production processes.
Skills and Requirements
To be successful in the Sales Manufacturing Tech position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- ITAR Compliance: Applicants must comply with ITAR regulations to ensure the proper handling of sensitive materials.
- Inspection Skills: Conduct visual inspections of all parts and components prior to assembly to uphold quality standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation instructions, and blueprints.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should be able to articulate instructions clearly and listen carefully to ensure understanding.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary for documenting and communicating effectively.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle day-to-day work challenges, adapt to changes, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands for the Sales Manufacturing Tech role include:
- Mobility: The employee must be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach throughout the facilities.
